Fencing brackets wall top

Coach screws and plug

Coach screws and plugs are generally used with the square tube brackets to secure them onto a masonary wall, They are hot dip galvanised for coastal applications.

Drill bits

The masonary drill bits are used to drill holes into walls and are available in a 6mm,8mm or 10mm diameter, which cater for all the hole size needs when fastening Nemtek brackets. A long drill bit, 8 x 400mm is used to drill holes through walls.

The SDS type drill bits are also available in the following sizes: 10 mm x 160 mm, 8 mm x 160 mm, 6 mm x 160 mm

Hammer Drive Nail In Anchors

The hammer drive nail in anchors are used to fasten the brackets securely onto a brick or concrete wall, The nylon nail in anchors are used for inland applications, The zinc nail in anchors are used for coastal applications.

Zinc sizes: 5 * 22mm, 6 * 30mm, 6 * 40mm, 6 * 50mm

Hook bolt

The electrogalvanised hook bolt is used to hook the tensioners to posts such as the profile post.

The hook bolt is: electro galvanised so it is only suitable for inland use and, has an adjustable nut for finer adjusting It is available in the following size:5 x 70 mm

Jurassic hook

Jurassic hook is used with the Jurassic insulator.

Large tail hook

The large tail hooks are a quick fit hook system for the flat and round bar insulators.
They offer the following features: stainless steel finish for long life expectancy, have a large tail to fit the Nemtek range of tensioning devices, fit quickly onto the Nemtek round and flat bar insulators.
Heavy duty 2.5 mm large tail heavy duty hooks are also available

Lugs

The lugs are used with the stays.
There are two types of lugs: Metal lugs which are used for the 8 mm and 10 mm stays, Plastic lugs which are used for the 10 mm stays.The plastic lugs are available in black
Metal lugs are available in the following sizes: 6 * 70 for 10mm stay, 6 * 35 for 8 mm stay

Stay clamp

The stay clamp is used to connect a stay to a round bar electric fence bracket. This assembly is used to brace the round bar bracket at the end of a fence run or in a corner.
10mm galvanised and rubber clamp.

Stay Sleeve

The stay sleeves are used for the wall top stays.They insulate the wall top stays thus reducing the potential of false alarm.
Specifications: UV stabilised plastic for a long life span. Available for the 8 * 600mm and 8 *750mm stays, Black or white

Stay with built in lug

The stays with built in lugs are used to further strengthen the end/corner posts which are under tension. The lug can be bent to fit onto the side or on top of the wall.
Stay sleeves can be added to electrically insulate these stays with built in lugs from the electric fence wires. The sleeves can also be used to colour coordinate the hot dip galvanised (HDG) stays to the fence as required.

Modulus Accessories

Modulus mounting bracket.This bracket is used to mount the posts to an existing fence, You can attach a stay and lug to the mounting bracket to further strengthen the end/corner post which is under tension, Modulus slide insulators.The insulators are used with the 2 way and 3 way Modulus posts. These insulators have two openings.The top opening is for the wire and the bottom is for the modulus hook on a 3 way corner/end post. The bottom hole is used for wire runs on a 2 way intermediate post, Modulus spacers.The spacers can be placed between the slide insulators to create bigger spacing options, Modulus hooks.These hooks are used with the spring tensioners to tension the wire on a 3 way corner/end post

Modulus corner and end bracket - 3 way

The Modulus range offers a slimline aesthetically pleasing finish to the Nemtek electric fencing range of posts. Using fibreglass and plastics in its construction it can be used in many harsh corrosive environments. The patented Modulus brackets are designed with flexibility in mind and different options can be made up as needed using slide insulators and spacers.

Modulus intermediate brackets - 2 way

The Modulus range offers a slimline aesthetically pleasing finish to the Nemtek electric fencing range of brackets. Using fibreglass and plastics in its construction it can be used in many harsh corrosive environments. The patented Modulus brackets are designed with flexibility in mind and different options can be made up as needed using slide insulators and spacers. The 2-way brackets are primarily used as intermediate brackets.

Omega brackets - end and corner

The 2 mm Omega bracket is used as a corner, change of direction or end post. The Omega system utilises the mechanical strength of an existing fence i.e mesh, palisade etc.to reduce the cost of constructing a complete new system.
The 2 mm Omega bracket is pre drilled every 100mm to fit the Nemtek hot dip galvanised S-hooks, 90 degree hooks,180 degree hooks, or pull throughs. These hooks are used in conjunction with the wire tensioners, strain insulators and springs to tension the electric fence wires. The pull throughs are used with the corner posts to guide the wires around bends and to assist in any change of direction
Hot dip galvanised for coastal use where corrosion is high, Available in precut lengths of 1 800 mm, 2 100 mm, 2 400 mm, 3 000 mm, making it versatile and flexible where different lengths are required, Light weight, easy to transport reducing handling time and transport costs, Can be configured and installed in various ways

Omega brackets - intermediate

The Omega intermediate bracket is used as an intermediate post. The Omega system utilises the mechanical strength of an existing fence i.e mesh fence, palisade fence to reduce the cost of constructing a complete new system.The pre punched holes allow for insulators to be fixed .
Available in pre-galvanised grade of mild steel for inland use
Hot dip galvanised for coastal use where corrosion is high, Available in precut lengths 900 mm, 1 200 mm, 1 500 mm, 1 800 mm, 2 100 mm, 2 400 mm, 3 000 mm, making it versatile and flexible where different lengths are required, Light weight, easy to transport reducing handling time and transport costs, Can be configured and installed in various ways

Omega Insulator

The Omega insulators are designed to be used with the Omega range of posts.

The Omega insulators have the following features: double tracking fin to reduce tracking and arcing, quick fit design, easy to replace when required
They are available in black.

There is an anti-climb version available known as the Omega collapsible, This version will not support a load greater than 20 kg, UV stabilised for external use, Virgin materials are used in their manufacture which are designed for a long life

Omega spacer

The Omega spacers can be used with the Omega intermediates, end and corner posts to space these posts away from the fence or wall.
The spacer when used on a wall or any flat surface will give you a spacing of 28 mm between the wall and the Omega post. Two of these spacers can also be used together to double the spacing.
The Omega spacer has a curved end which allows it to be mounted onto a round tube. The spacing when used on a round tube will be 23 mm.
The five different mounting hole options on the spacer make it very flexible for different needs.
They are available in black, UV stabilised for external use, Virgin materials are used in their manufacture which are designed for a long life. UV stabilised for long life

Pull through assembly - Omega system

The Pull through hook in conjunction with the round tension bobbin insulator large plus ( EI-BTL2) can be used to guide the wire around corners and bends. The round tension insulator guides the wire around the corner and holds it in place. Galvanised for a long life expectancy

S-Hook - 90 degree

The S-Hook (90 degree) is used to hook wire tensioners, heavy duty springs and strain insulators onto the Omega  corner posts.

Hot dip galvanised

S-Hook-180 degree

The S-Hook (180 degree) is used to hook wire tensioners, heavy duty springs and strain insulators onto the Omega posts. The 180 degree S-hook allows a tensioning point on long straight runs. The 180 degree S-Hook can also be used to split zones along straight runs.

Tek Screws

The tek screws are self drilling metal screws.They are used to secure the brackets to a pre-existing metal fence.

The tek screws for inland use are available in the following sizes and are electro galvanised :

The tek screws for coastal use are available in a hot dip galvanised or decromet finish. They are available in the following sizes: 12 * 25 mm (Hot dip galvanised), 12 * 38 mm (Hot dip galvanised), 14 * 102 mm (Decromet finish), 14 * 142 mm (Decromet finish)

Tension bobbin insulator large plus

The tension bobbin insulator large plus is used with the Omega posts as a pull through system for corners and change of direction.
The tension bobbin insulator in conjunction with the pull through hook can be used to guide the wire around corners and bends. The round tension insulator guides the wire around the corner and holds it in place.

Druid 13 LCD, 15 LCD

The Druid 13 LCD energizer offers 3.0 J output energy and the Druid 15 LCD energizer offers 4.6 J output energy.

Using the Adaptive Power Technology (APT), pioneered and patented by Nemtek, these two energizers offer a new and unique method in detecting how much power a fence can accept and handle before it starts to arc and waste energy, thus maximising the power on the fence.

Changes in the surrounding environment can affect a fence's efficiency. The APT actively analyses the fence and adapts the transfer of power as required to ensure maximum performance. These energizers are an excellent choice for coastal areas, where the salt build-up during the dry season can result in increased power losses along the fence.

Druid 24 LCD I/O relay card (expansion card)

The Druid 24 LCD expansion card is a relay card with 4 inputs and 10 relay outputs. It is used with the Druid 24 LCD energizer to increase the number of inputs and outputs to the energizer for integration purposes. The outputs can be programmed to show and mimic, zone 1 or 2 on/off or high and low voltage, mains failure, battery low, alarms zones, service and tamper conditions. The relay inputs can be programmed to control the individual zones, on and off and set the high or low voltage mode

Druid 24 LCD keypad

There are two types of keypads for the Druid 24 LCD. There is a 2 zone and a 4 zone keypad. The 4 zone keypad can be used to control two Druid 24 LCD energizers creating a 4 zone system.

Fiber Optic Communication Card

Both the Fiber Optic card and the RS485 cards can be installed inside the Merlin Stealth energizer housing and are powered by the electric fence energizer. Fiber Optic cards are the preferred option and must be used in high lightning areas

Merlin 4 keypad

The Merlin 4 energizer comes standard with a keypad. Up to 4 keypads in total can be used on a single energizer to program and control the energizer.

The Merlin 4 offers what the Wizord 4 has in terms of features, but with remote control through a dedicated keypad. The keypad also allows the user and the installer to program and control the energizer from a remote location. This allows the energizer to be installed near the fence and the keypad to be located where it is most convenient for the user. Additional features that the standard Wizord does not have, can be enabled through the keypad
Siren trigger times and frequency can be adjusted as required

Merlin Stealth Master energizer M25M, M28M

The Merlin Stealth Master energizer, is a dual zone energizer and can control up to nine standard Merlin Stealth dual zone energizers. That means a total of 10 energizers can be controlled together and divided up into 20 fence zones.

Any number of dual zone energizers can be networked, forming a basic 4 zone, 6 zone or up to the 20 zone system as required.

The complete control of the system is done through a 20 zone keypad which is supplied with the Merlin Stealth Master energizer.

The communication cards (Fiber Optic card and the RS485 card) can be installed inside the Merlin Stealth energizer housing and are powered by the electric fence energizer. Fiber Optic cards are the preferred option and must be used in high lightning areas

Cortech Developments is a company that specialises in large scale security and control software (integration). Nemtek's Merlin Stealth energizer can interface with this software using the Proxy controller. Compression Spring

Compression spring is used to maintain a constant tension on the electric fence wires. The conductive wire tension on an electric fence will vary over time and the springs will maintain a constant force on the electric fence wires to keep them neat.

The compression springs offer the following features: a nylon plastic inner which eliminates galvanic reaction between dissimilar metal thus reducing rust and increasing the life of the wire, can be used with any type of Nemtek electric fence wire

Fence Wires - Solid

Galvanised solid wires: light and heavy galvanised, 2.24 mm diameter.
This high tensile wire is generally used for freestanding fencing where a high strength mechanical fence is needed. This wire is generally used for game and animal control fencing applications.

Stainless steel grade 304 and 316 solid wires.
The 304 grade is available in a 1.0 mm and 1.2 mm diameter. The 316 grade is available in a 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.6 mm and 2.0 mm diameter. Solid stainless steel offers a high resistance to corrosion and a longer life span on the fence. The 316 grade is the wire of choice for highly corrosive coastal areas.

Aluminium solid wire: 1.6 mm and 2.0 mm diameter. Aluminium wire has a very low electrical resistance allowing long fences to be powered up from only one energizer. Its high resistance to corrosion offers a long life span on the fence.

The cut out switch isolates a section of an electric fence to allow for easy maintenance and fault finding

Earth spike/stake-copper clad

An electric fence needs to be earthed in order to operate effectively. The earth spike or earth stake is used to earth the electric fence system. Knock 3 earth spikes /earth stakes into the ground near the electric fence at a minimum of 1.5 m apart and connect these earth spikes/stakes to the energizer using the high tension insulated cable (HT).
Even a powerful energizer will not be effective without good earthing. In areas where earthing conditions are bad you may be required to add a few more earth spikes/stakes along the fence line and connect these back to the energiser.

Lightning Diverters

 

Lightning and power surge are the most common cause of electronic failure to energizers.

Nemtek energizers have extensive lightning protection built into the units to help reduce the possibility of damage. Additional external lightning protection reduces the likelihood of surge coming through the fence wires and the mains supply into the energizer thus assisting in the protection of the energizer. Lightning kits help divert any power surge that may occur on the fence line away from the energizer and into the ground
